Clelian Heights is continually seeking to match individuals with community jobs that are right for them and for the employer. If you or your business has a need for dedicated employees, please contact the Clelian Center at 724-837-8120 x116 or 724-853-9540 and our staff will assist you in finding the right person for the job.
Job Development and Coaching provides training and assistance in all phases of job acquisition and retention including: interviewing skills, identifying potential employment sites, contacting employers, completing job applications, learning and reviewing specific job responsibilities prior to and at time of placement, and assistance with transportation needs. The job coach teaches on-site and gradually fades from the site as the individual learns the job. The job coach remains available to assist with review training and resolving issues both for the employee and the employer as needed. Clelian Center workers are employed at Kings Family Restaurant, Caritas Christi Center, and Sam’s Club.
Supported Employment or Transitional Work provides for a small group of employees to be trained for and accompanied on the job by a Clelian Center support staff member that supervises the group at the community employment site. Clelian Center workers are employed at the East Suburban Citizen’s Advocacy and Knights of Columbus in Murrysville, Latrobe Art Center in Latrobe, the Alcoa Technical Center in New Kensington and Gabriel Brothers in Greensburg.
