Betty was a faith filled, strong amazing woman. She loved teaching her students. Now she is free of pain and with her parents and her dear husband Joe in the heavens. . She was more than a friend she was family.

We were so fortunate that our Emma had Miss Betty as a teacher for so many years! Emma learned so many academic Skills but also many more social skills from Miss Betty. The Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus join the Church and faithful around the world in mourning the passing of our Holy Father Pope Francis after 12 years of dedicated service as our steadfast and humble shepherdβand a lifetime of sharing the love of Christ with all those in need. He especially had a heart for the poor and marginalized, like our beloved foundress, Blessed Clelia Merloni.
From the beginning of his papacy, Pope Francis sought to bring about peace and unityβnot only amongst Christians, but among all peopleβand he did so through love. Over and over, he counseled us to see one another as brothers and sisters, to see Christ in our neighbors, and to love one another as Jesus loved us.
Pope Francis shone as a light of Christβs merciful love. While we grieve his passing from this world, we find our comfort in the promise of the Resurrection. As we celebrate his life and his joyful witness, we pray for the repose of Pope Francisβ soul. May his legacy of mercy, compassion and love continue to inspire the world and our Church.
